The Design Burger Award

We’re proud to be a prize partner with New Designers for its 40th anniversary edition this July. Since 1985, New Designers has been the leading showcase for emerging talent, today bringing together over 2,500 graduates from more than 100 of the UK’s top design courses every year. Join us from 2–5 July (Week 1) and 9–12 July (Week 2) to discover cutting-edge ideas, fresh perspectives and the latest trends in design.

We’re looking for an industrial design project that stands out for its clarity, quality, and thoughtfulness. The winning project should show strong visualisation and prototyping skills, with a well-documented process and a clear, considered story behind the design. We’re interested in work that feels relevant and well developed – something that shows the designer has made confident decisions and can explain their thinking in a straightforward, professional way. The final design should feel fresh and well resolved, and leave a lasting impression on the judges.
