A 3D-printed lighting collection using fully compostable materials.
Saloon’s lighting pieces are created through 3D printing, a process that removes traditional tooling constraints and allows each lamp to take on a distinct, freely formed geometry. The method also enables the use of 100% plant-based, compostable materials, giving the products a sustainable material foundation as well as a tactile, crafted character. Behind the work is Saloon, an experimental design lab that develops functional objects through the same exploratory principles that guide their animation studio.
