An emotional-learning companion robot for children. 🤖
A concept play robot designed to help children aged 5–10 develop empathy and emotional awareness through everyday interaction. Rather than relying on instruction-based teaching, the robot responds to a child’s actions with visible emotional cues, allowing children to experience how behaviour affects others and to learn through response and recovery. The design uses soft, rounded forms and fabric-wrapped components to create a safe, approachable presence in the home. LED graphics beneath the fabric surface display facial expressions, while cameras and sensors positioned at eye level support natural interaction. Features such as gentle movement, warm touch through a heated body surface, and a projector-based charging dock extend learning into play, routine, and rest.
