The Product Design 100 – Archive Edition

Designed to protect one hundred stories of design.

To mark the launch of The Product Design 100, our debut publication documenting one hundred stories of contemporary product design, we created the Archive Edition.

Developed in collaboration with our packaging partner, Zenpack, the Archive Edition features a custom mechanical lift that raises the book as the box opens.

A collaboration across continents

We worked with the Zenpack team in California, with production taking place in China while we coordinated the project from London. The tight turnaround meant working across teams and time zones to have the finished boxes ready for our book launch during London Design Festival (LDF), alongside our pop-up exhibition in Shoreditch.

The Archive Edition

The Product Design 100 brings together one hundred contemporary product design projects, spanning furniture, lighting, technology, tools and homeware.

The Archive Edition was designed to house and protect the book, with bespoke packaging developed specifically for the publication. Just 50 boxes were produced, each individually numbered.
